Philosophically,
DoveStar & EarthStar provides a space,
for educational and spiritual growth purposes,
where people explore their way of life with
support and respect for the individual without
fear of ridicule, rejection, punishment or
blame. It depends on the amount of resistance
received, our commitment to it and the spiritual
power behind its creation. We can find freedom
and peace and have a world where all live
in harmony, but it requires a personal commitment
as well as one to the collective and a dedication
to the process. To know that this is our God
given nature is the reality we must surrender
to.
This
is a story about a woman with a purpose and a
dream who felt it, knew it when she saw it, and
made it happen. Her name is Kamala St Germain. She
is the founder of the DoveStar Institute and EarthStarRSVP™
Retreats, Seminars, & Visionary Productions.
Kamala's
story is one of faith, persistence, and the application
of her beliefs. Dreams do come true. It's all
a matter of how long we're willing to work, wait
and believe. She believes that when a person finds
their God given passion, there is no turning back.
Her passion is teaching others that making a commitment
to the higher purpose brings spiritual gifts forward.
DoveStar
maintains holistic centers that offer individual
sessions on a one-to-one basis for clients and
other services for personal growth. EarthStar
RSVP organizes offerings for transformational
and self growth purposes. The school, DoveStar
Institute, offers professional training in many
holistic modalities with Alchemia™, Kriya™ and Synergy™ as the transformational philosophy for the teachings.
The Alchemia™ teachings follow the premise that
there are four basic energy forms in the universe
which have their psychological counterparts. Kamala's
personal quest is to have a society where people,
through conscious knowledge of these forces at
work, choose their daily activities spontaneously
without control, criticism, judgment, or manipulation
by an external source. That dream was behind the
creation of DoveStar, where people learn to understand
their qualities as assets and differences and
individualities are given respect. These differences
are what make the world interesting, life exciting,
and provide situations for us to learn from each
other. We experience the possibilities of what
life can be through our differences. We simply
must stop creating conditions for love to exist.
True love has no conditions. True love loves the
ugly, beautiful, poor, rich, fat and skinny equally
for there are no conditions in love. That is the
vision of DoveStar & EarthStar. We have begun
to create this vision, and many lives have been
changed.
The
Yoga Heath Center, it's first name, was possibly
the first of its kind anywhere and certainly the
first in New Hampshire. In 1981, the name changed
to DoveStar Institute when massage licensing was
passed and became the first massage school in
NH. Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts opened as the
second location in 1990 as EarthStar Holistic
Center. This was outgrown in a year and moved
to Plymouth, Massachusetts. A few years later
it was licensed as the second DoveStar Institute.
Since then the organization has grown with DoveStar
schools in several states.
People
have come from all over the world. Some people
keep coming back, others stop in to sit and chat
with whomever happens to be here at the time,
and others call or write because they have been
referred by someone who was transformed in some
way by a visit to DoveStar. There are and have
been many changes, physically as well as spiritually
and there will by many more because that is the
way life is.
Although
certificates are an important part of giving graduates
credibility, what is learned and gained from studying
at DoveStar cannot be measured by a piece of paper.
The curriculum for DoveStar Institute contains
a diverse set of courses including physical, emotional,
mental and spiritual developmental techniques.
The centerpiece is a program for massage. This
allows graduates to take a state
exam where required. The courses include Kriya™ massage, Alchemia™ Bodywork, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Acupressure,
Alchemical™ Synergy plus a host of others. The
students who come to DoveStar are amazing. They
are sensitive, compassionate, have a sincere desire
to be of service to anyone who may need them,
and love learning new ways to help others. DoveStar
graduates working in the professional field receive
the highest praise from clients and other professionals.
This is partly due to training they receive at
DoveStar but what makes them of such high quality
is their inner nature.
Alchemia™ is a formula which consistently facilitates the
process of evolution toward personal and planetary
balance. Its roots are grounded in the ancient
science of Alchemy. Alchemia™ is an "inner
science" integrating several modalities of
consciousness raising techniques for personal
transformation. It differs from other teachings
in that it begins with what the individual has
already expressed and learned about themselves.
Value is given to what someone already is and
thus used as a foundation to integrate Alchemian™ techniques. Alchemia™ accepts that everything we
experience is valuable and utilizes all experiences,
understanding that they are not right or wrong,
good or bad, but simply experiences. The Alchemian™ philosophy believes that balance has always existed
and sickness is an illusion. The art of healing
occurs when we become able to fully express ourselves
and experience our lives without trauma, resistance,
or judgment, but with a joy and excitement that
the new experiences bring.
Alchemia™ teaches that the experience of disease occurs
usually when people are changing and growing spiritually
faster than the physical body can handle. Temporary
adjustments have to be made to accommodate the
growth. It is like remodeling a home. Initially,
this involves a disruption of the normal order
of things until the remodeling is complete and
the new order established. Many call this condition
illness. Kamala considers it the path to enlightenment.
Alchemia™ Bodywork involves the art of breath, Reiki
and Shamballa energy work combined with touch
therapy as a powerful method to release blockages.
Knowledge about the storage of emotional trauma
in the cellular structure involves the practitioner
in a constant dance aimed at facilitating release
through breath, sound, body positioning, light
or heavy touch, synergy and relaxation techniques.
The Alchemia™ Bodywork allows the recipient
to be transported to a level of consciousness
where time does not exist, where all that they
are, if they wish to see it, is an open book.
Whether or not they read what is in "the
book" is their free choice. Nothing is expected.
Transformational synergy therapy helps those with
deep seated trauma and/or addictive behaviors.
The Alchemia™ Bodyworker is trained to become one
with the moment and chooses the technique that
matches the need of the client at that time. The
desired outcome that takes place in the Alchemia™ Bodywork, is that the practitioner and client
become more aware of their talents as well as
their potential to develop new ones.
Because
of the type of training and the focus of DoveStar
on a truly holistic approach to life, DoveStar
attracts a different type of student than the
average massage school. The focus in all of the
training that occurs at DoveStar is to teach the
true meaning of service to those who want to use
touch as a vehicle to find, explore and develop
new parts of themselves. It is our goal that through
this process the students will develop and fulfill
their highest potential.
DoveStar
Institute Therapies
The
therapy taught at DoveStar is a new style of therapy.
It was developed by utilizing ancient techniques
and integrating universal forces of nature relative
to today's conditions.
The
institute has many different forms of training
that can be practiced independently or integrated
with each other. The different styles of alternative
healing include Kriya™ (Kree-yah) Massage, Sports
Massage, Kriya™ Neuromuscular, Alchemia™ Bodywork,
Reiki and Alchemical™ Synergy. Each therapy has
a different focus but ultimately the same goal;
that of being whole on the physical, emotional
and spiritual level. Thus the term holistic, meaning
fulfillment of the mind, body, and spirit connection.
Energy
movement in the universe is continual and on a
constant interactive path that creates multiple
and complex patterns. The laws of energy movement
are absolute. Regardless of what you do, it will
flow in and out of different cycles according
to your particular concentration at the moment.
What you focus on is your reality. Always be mindful
of what beliefs have your attention. These will
grow and expand within your reality as they are
nourished with energy.
Kriya™ is a strong foundation for Alchemical™ work. It
is the pattern from which experience manifests.
When an idea progresses from just a thought to
the birth of a reality, Kriya™ is the spontaneous
movement of energy that is the bridge connecting
the idea to the reality.
Synergy
involves four original primary forces, the foundation
of the creation of all life forms. One is Centripetal,
an inward spiral. This is the energy utilized
when meditating or when pulling away from external
influence and going inside to find personal answers.
The second force is Centrifugal, an outward spiral,
used to project outward into external experiences.
The interaction of these two is polarity. They
are magnetically aligned with each other and within
them is contained all interactive or peripheral
experience. The third force is Gravity, a grounding
or anchoring energy that allows for stabilization
in the physical body. Gravity is used to step
out of time and observe the interactive path we
travel between Centripetal and Centrifugal energies.
Roots or boundaries are created in the gravitational
force. The fourth force is Electromagnetic, the
most vital of all forces. When one feels alive,
electromagnetic is giving life to everything you
experience and your life is vibrating in a state
of unconditional love. It is important to be aware
that you give life to whatever you choose or take
it away according to your will.
Kriya™ Massage
Kriya™ massage facilitates seeing and feeling the energy
patterns of movement. There is a magical feeling
that goes along with it. People receiving a massage
feel it, but are not consciously aware of the
possible effect. Kriya™ stimulates change by disrupting
old holding patterns of consciousness in preparation
for realignment to a polarized state. The affect
on the client is a progressive buildup of energy
as the practitioner continues.
The
use of the Kriya™ dance creates a feeling of having
received multiple massages. Kriya™ uses energy
patterns that are spirals, figure eights and circles.
The result is a continuous motion with no beginning
and no end. When this type of massage is integrated
with other styles, the affect is intensified and
may continue for many days. Kriya™ can be a separate
massage or an adjunct to any other style.
Learning
to give a Kriya ™Massage means that the energy
will move in a continuous line of experience,
from the time the practitioner places hands on
the person's body, until the final touch and release
of the interaction. The Kriya massage goes through
four cycles.
The connection (Centripetal energy), the interaction
(Centrifugal energy), the grounding (Gravity energy)
and bringing life into the movement (Electromagnetic
energy) until you release it at the completion
of the session. Utilizing these four forces causes
a rotation of energy to create a circle as a pathway
for the experience of all feelings stimulated
in each massage. Therefore, stimulation of universal
life force energy.
Sports
Massage
Sports
Massage is being used today as a natural adjunct
to physical fitness training and sporting events.
Most professional athletic events now have a massage
therapist in attendance. This field requires a
specialized program for understanding how the
universal forces are effected by physical activity
that stresses the interaction of these forces
in the body. The study of sports massage at DoveStar
incorporates 1. Reiki, a study of universal energy
and its ability to be transmitted through the
practitioner's hands to re-connect life force
circuits that may be broken by stress and 2. Deep
joint and tissue work, as needed, can then be
applied without the resistance that would be there
without the use of the previous methods. The integral
combination of energy work with deep massage techniques
creates an optimally efficient style of sports
massage.
Alchemia™ Bodywork
The
ability of the Alchemia™ Practitioner to aid an
individual to release destructive stress is directly
in ratio to their knowledge of intricacies of
imbalance. It is valuable to be able to utilize
several modalities to establish balance on all
levels.
The
Alchemia™ Practitioner becomes the guide
who gently brings the individual through their
maze with balancing techniques that range from
massage, aura clearing, and spinal attunements,
to physical, neuroemotional and spiritual work.
The end result is to arrive at the cause behind
all the neuroses, tensions and programmed responses
to daily experiences. The guidance then continues
as a tool for redefining personal desires and
dreams and affirming the commitment of the individual
to take responsibility for their own health.
Alchemical™ Synergy
The four forces and their interaction with each
other contain everything in an orderly pattern.
Change is a nuclear explosion that literally severs
the cohesive action between the forces. A new
alignment of energy has to take place for life
to exist again in an orderly manner. The chosen
new pattern is then established. We do this in
many ways in our daily lives when we make changes
in ourselves. It is a minor nuclear explosion
within our consciousness that disrupts what we
are and then, using elements of what we were,
we arrange them in different patterns and become
different people. For some this is going on almost
constantly, even though they may not be aware
of it. Synergy and HeartBreath are keys to achieving
the birth of a personally powered nuclear consciousness.
The
purpose of the DoveStar & EarthStar schools,
centers and seminars is to help prepare for the
coming of a New Era. We are in a period of time
where new patterns of evolution will be conducive
to attitudes of love and oneness with the universe
and where God's creativity can be expressed in
it's diverse splendor. We have the innate ability
to become masters of the forces for the benefit
of human kind, so that we may live in peace and
harmony. Many international networking connections
have been established with other Light Workers

as an example of harmony that we can have with
nature and each other in the spirit of freedom
